Is the item you want checked out? It's easy to get on the waiting list, and when your turn comes, we'll notify you. You can place a hold on an item in several ways: stop by the library, call us at 712-832-9505 or send us a message on Facebook.
During library hours you can bring your books and movies in and deposit them in the book drop at the desk or you may put them in the book drop located in front of the library 24 hours a day.

If an item you are seeking is not available at our library, we can often get it from another library through Interlibrary Loan. To request an interlibrary loan, stop by the library, call us at 712-832-9505 or send us a message on Facebook. There is a $3.00 charge for each interlibrary loan received from another Iowa library with the exception of materials for the blind.
Our address is 905 South Market Street. We are located on the Northwest corner of the Harris-Lake Park Middle School/High School. We are across the parking lot from the community center.

- Consider a bequest.
- Join the Friends of the Lake Park Public Library. Applications are available at the library.
The Friends of the Lake Park Public Library gratefully accept donations of your gently used books, CDs and DVDs to be sold at their annual book sale. Drop off donations inside the library at the desk. All proceeds support the Lake Park Public Library!
We accept:
Fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, DVDs and CDs
We cannot accept:
Audiocassettes or VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedia sets, catalogs, professional journals or odds and ends – including calendars, personal journals, outdated medical and financial resources.
Please use your best judgement about donating things that are not in good condition. Save our volunteers that extra work and recycle rather than donating outdated items and things in poor condition.
